Welcome to December Mustang Families,

As 2025 approaches, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible support from our Murwood caregivers, teachers, and staff this year. You’ve made every event, initiative, and effort more meaningful by showing up and being part of what makes Murwood such a special community.

This enthusiasm and involvement has been a driving force all year, and nowhere was that more evident than November's Handel’s Give Back Night. It was such a success. Even Handel’s was amazed, saying they’d never seen a turnout like ours! That’s the magic of Murwood—we show up for one another, our kids, and our school.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to our PTA Board. Many of them are new to Murwood and PTA work, yet they've jumped into their roles with such heart and dedication. Their behind-the-scenes efforts bring our community together in such meaningful ways. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to thank our Board members for their commitment to making Murwood thrive.

Looking back on all we’ve accomplished inspires us to keep the magic flowing!
This December we look forward to:

🎁 Sweeten the Season – We're dropping off festive treats and snacks for our hardworking teachers and staff. Your kindness fuels their dedication and spreads so much holiday cheer.

🌟 Festival of Lights – Light up the night with us! Add your holiday light display to the community trail map by December 12th. Then join us on December 19th to enjoy the show!

GREATER GIVING ITEM ENTRY SUCCESSOR
Our current volunteer, who’s been invaluable in this role, will be moving on after this year. We’re looking for someone to shadow her this season and step into this role next year! Here’s what’s involved:

Time Commitment
1-2 hours per week until March 22, learning how to enter auction items into our Greater Giving software and create the online auction site.

Long-Term Support
Ideally, this person will continue in this role next school year as well.

*Being a PTA Executive Board Member is not required for this volunteer role—though we’d love to have you join that too if you’re interested!
