FUNDRAISING

Our PTA is powered by the generosity of our community and all money raised goes directly to Murwood.  We know that you are bombarded by requests from a variety of places, so we try to keep it simple and not ask for money multiple times throughout the year.  In addition to membership dues, below are the main ways that we raise funds to support Murwood.  

ANNUAL FUND DONATION

Please consider donating to the Murwood PTA Annual Fund. This year, we’re asking for families to donate $250, but any amount is appreciated! 

This donation helps cover the costs associated with teacher/staff events (i.e. teacher birthdays, holiday gifts, teacher appreciation week, etc.), community outreach events and enables the PTA to supplement site programs and resources, beyond what the state of California provide.  Examples include: classroom Chromebooks, library books, art materials, playground equipment, supplemental teacher supplies, science and lab equipment, class enrichment and much, much more.

CORPORATE MATCH 

Many companies double or even triple donations to Murwood! Contact your employer's HR department to find out if your employer matches donations. It usually takes less than five minutes to fill out the necessary forms and it makes a huge difference for our students, our school, and our community.

MURWOOD auction for education - march 23, 2024

Historically, this is our largest fundraiser.  This year our in-person event will take place at the Chicken Pie Shop on Saturday, March 23rd.  Save the date!
