What an incredible February filled with community, celebration, and school spirit! We wrapped up Black History Month, showed our amazing Murwood staff some love, and proudly brought home the WCEF Turn Up the Heat trophy! Multicultural Night was another unforgettable evening, where we shared food, traditions, and the joy of learning about one another’s heritage.

Now, we look ahead to even more exciting moments—celebratingWomen’s History Month, Read Across America Day, our very own Murwood Science Fair, and Havana Nights: Auction for Education, the biggest PTA night of the year!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our February PTA Meeting! We spent much of the evening discussing the exciting campus upgrades coming to Murwood through Measure J. Special thanks to our guest speaker, Superintendent Marie Morgan, for sharing insights on the project, and to the amazing high school volunteers from Acalanes who provided babysitting services.

Murwood’s young scientists have been busy hypothesizing, experimenting, and bringing their ideas to life—and now it’s time for the big reveal! Join us for the Science Fair THIS Thursday, March 6th, from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the MPR, where students will showcase their incredible projects.

Beyond the amazing displays of curiosity and innovation, the evening includes:
🍴 No-Host Food Truck, starting at 5:30 PM
🔭 Telescope viewing on the blacktop, hosted by the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society
