AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT
Murwood offers a diverse range of after school enrichment opportunities - click here to view them. We are also looking for a co-coordinator for this amazing program! If you are interested, please contact Murwood ASE.
WALKING CLUB
Walking Club is a hugely popular recess activity at Murwood. The more you walk, the bigger the reward for your health and your stash of goodies! You can earn a water bottle, a t-shirt, a pedometer, a jump rope, or a gift card. If you complete 4 marathons, the Mayor will personally greet you and award you with a certificate!! Walking Club promotes exercise and is a safe place for kids to find an alternate recess activity. Volunteers help to monitor and encourage the kids (it gets busy!), manage the cards, and handle reward distribution. Please email Heather Sosa if you're interested in helping.
SCIENCE FAIR
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
Teacher appreciation week is May 6th-10th, 2024. If you are interested in helping plan this week of appreciation for our teachers, or would like to volunteer, please contact us for more information. Keep an eye out for more details in our bi-weekly newsletter in mid April, 2024.
