Room Parents are the friendly bridge between teachers, families, and Murwood PTA.

They help make communication easier and connections stronger by supporting our teachers, keeping families in the loop, and sprinkling community magic along the way.  

SO WHAT DO ROOM PARENTS DO? TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• 
  Partnering with Teachers & Families – Teachers set the tone, Room Parents support their needs, share updates, and keep families in the know.
• 
  Celebration Coordinator – Help organize classroom parties, coordinate thoughtful class gifts, and spread the love during Educator Appreciation Week.
• 
  Bringing the Fun to School Events – Rally their class to host a game or booth at the Fall Festival and join in other community events.
• 
  Capturing the Memories – Collect class photos to share for the yearbook and preserve the moments that make the year special.
